Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility and handle a wide range of legal matters such as litigation, consumer credit law related issues, regulatory questions as well as general corporate matters.

  • Interact with stakeholders on strategically important legal projects

  • Provide hands-on legal support and collaborate with all levels on the business side

  • Applying a business sense when solving complex legal issues

  • You will work with Grover´s business partners, supporting various stakeholders with legal questions and projects related to your area of expertise.

Requirements


Qualifications

  • You are either a fully qualified lawyer from at least one EU jurisdiction, or you are in possession of a university law degree from a reputable European University (L.L.M. or equivalent is considered an asset)

  • Prior working experience with legal counselling in a legal team in-house or at an international law firm

  • Working experience with regulatory requirements for the financial services/payments industry, or IP Law and regulatory Law

  • Strong commercial, organisational and analytical skills, combined with pragmatism and commercial solution orientation.

  • Proven record of being able to work autonomously with legal project management involving senior stakeholders

  • Strong sense of ownership and drive to push complex legal matters forward

  • Both your German and English, verbal and written, are on an excellent level. You are comfortable communicating with colleagues and stakeholders on different level and with different professional backgrounds.
