About the Position:
Our Product Squads can only create the best possible user experience with the right knowledge of how and why customers use Grover. As we are growing quickly while building speed in our product development cycle, we are looking for a talented and motivated UX Researcher to work independently to take over parts of our UX Research and Usability Testing.
In this role, you will conduct qualitative and quantitative research to explore behaviors and expectations of our users, communicate findings efficiently to all stakeholders and directly propose actionable solutions that deliver value. You will work closely with our awesome team of UX Researchers, Product Owners, UX Designers, UX Copywriters and Developers to continuously optimize our web, mobile, and offline UX towards developing new features and products.
Take an active role in building UX Research throughout teams, championing User Research and data-based decision-making
Evaluate and improve our existing user experience concepts across all touchpoints
Translate research findings to product, business, and engineering teams, deduce actionable solutions and help with prioritizing features on our roadmap
Conceptualize, plan, execute and evaluate qualitative user interviews and usability testing (remote and in-house)
Plan, execute and evaluate online surveys
Set up and track KPIs working together with our Web Analytics and Business Intelligence team
Support ongoing UX Research projects e.g. on measuring and improving product/market fit, segmenting the user base, tracking NPS from various steps within the customer journey, and much more.
Fluent in German and English
Degree in HCI, psychology, computer science, media science, sociology or a related field
At least 1 year experience doing hands-on qualitative and quantitative research, ideally in a product environment
Extensive qualitative and quantitative methodological knowledge (interview procedures, usability tests, survey design, statistical analysis, etc.)
Pronounced data affinity and knowledge of how to use survey tools, google sheets, and ideally statistical software such as R
The ability to work in a structured manner, a high standard of quality and personal initiative while enjoying independent and result-oriented work
Strong analytical skills, empathy, and communication skills (verbal and written)
Passionate about great UX and knowledge of UX trends and best practices
Experience with prototyping tools is a plus (Figma, Invision, Axure, Framer, Sketch)
