The protection and legally correct collection, processing, and use of your personal data are very important for Grover. We comply with all legal data protection requirements when handling your application.

The entity responsible for collecting, processing, and using your personal data you provide us in your application process in accordance with GDPR is the Grover Group GmbH, Holzmarktstrasse 11, 10719 Berlin, Germany.
Personal data means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual person. This includes your name, your telephone number, your address, your picture, as well as other application data that you share with us in the course of your application.
For the purposes of managing your online application, we collect, process, and use your personal data that you have provided to us via the online application form or by sending us your CV. In your application you may provide us a link to your profile on Linkedin, XING or similar job sites or social media sites. We also receive personal data from you in the interviews that we hold with you.
We discourage you from providing to us personal data that may be considered sensitive personal data like about your racial or ethnic origin, marital status, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, criminal record or trade union membership. If you provide us with this information, we will handle this information responsibly and we will need your explicit consent to process it.
We collect and process the personal data about you in order to process and assess your application based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. This also includes using the data to contact you.
Your data will be transmitted to Grover´s HR department in an encrypted form.
In cases where you provided us with sensitive information, we will need your consent to process this information (Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR).
For storing and handling your application we use service providers like Recruitee B.V. (Keizersgracht 313 1016 EE Amsterdam).
Your application will be deleted automatically six months after the recruitment for the position has ended. After this time, your data will be deleted. You can always request us to delete your data by sending an email to: [email protected] Please note that by requesting the deletion you are withdrawing from all application processes.
You have the option to agree to the storage of your personal data and application for future positions after the completion of the application process. Should you wish to use that option, your personal data will be stored by Grover for a period of 12 months. After 12 months your personal data will be deleted automatically.
We use third party service providers to process your application and personal data. For application management we use the services of Recruitee B.V. (Keizersgracht 313 1016 EE Amsterdam). For this purpose, your data is being stored and processed on servers of Recruitee B.V. (Keizersgracht 313 1016 EE Amsterdam), located in Europe.
For any transfers of your personal data from the EEA to countries that are not considered as providing an adequate level of protection by the European Commission, such as USA, we have put in place adequate measures such as Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission to protect your personal data.
All of your data transmitted to us is encrypted automatically (SSL encryption). Suitable technical and organizational measures are in place to ensure that your personal data is handled confidentially and securely in accordance with the legal requirements.
You have the following legal data protection rights under the relevant legal conditions: Right to information (Article 15 GDPR), right to deletion (Article 17 GDPR), right to correction (Article 16 GDPR), right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR), right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR), as well as the right to object to particular data processing measures (Article 21 GDPR). If you have given consent for the processing of your data, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal has no effect on the admissibility of the processing of your data which took place before the withdrawal.
